 CR Moonlit Aurora is a Half Arabian, Palomino daughter of Raleighs Full Moon. I sold her as a weanling 10 years ago to her owner Ann Jarrett. This Spring I photographed the pair at the Chris Cox Horsemanship clinic in Livermore, California.
The day was ideal for photographing horses. The sun was perfect, the background full of clean California hillsides- the entire experience was inspirational. I captured some super shots of the bonded pair and the charismatic Chris Cox.
To make things even better, my friend was with me and she owns Aurora's full sister, CA Savannah Moon. Thank you, Ann and Harriet for giving your horses such fabulous homes.

 Granddaughter Eve Margaret Foster enjoys the company of Raleighs Full Moon on a cool April morning. Eve's mother is a competitive Grand Prix rider who makes my horse passion look tame.
Eve has grown up around animals, especially big horses, so there was no hesitation when our fearless 2 year old agreed to be photographed with "Mr. Moonie".
My son called after taking his daughter home and wanted to know why Eve kept repeating, "Don't touch Moon's teeth."
